Game 9 Result : Trowbridge Wdrs 4 vs 2 Midsomer Norton (Capt. Ben)
Match Summary :
Trowbridge Wanderers were much improved since our last meeting and gave us a really tough game.
Their attackers were a constant threat and caused our defence to work really hard to keep them out. At the other end, their keeper was also in great form and was equal to just about everything we could throw at him, it took a superb, lobbed strike from Christian to eventually break through !
In the end it was a disappointing result for us. Everyone gave a tremendous amount of effort, with every single player working really hard, but more importantly never giving up, right until the final whistle we still thought we were in with a shout of drawing or winning.
It just wasn't going to be our day !
Man of the match :
Man of the match went to Louie for an all round solid game, including a 10 minute spell in goal whilst Ross recovered from an injury ! Well done Louie !
